Slimani On The Scoresheet As Six Foxes Feature On Loan

Six on-loan Leicester City stars were in action for their adopted clubs in four different leagues over the most recent weekend of action.
More on this story...

- Algeria striker Islam Slimani scored his fifth goal for AS Monaco in a 3-2 win over Rennes on Sunday
- Midfielder Adrien Silva also completed the full 90 minutes for the Ligue 1 side at Stade Louis II
- Kamal Sowah (OH Leuven) and Josh Knight (Peterborough United) also tasted victory over Lommel and Gillingham
- Fousseni Diabaté's Amiens drew with Nîmes, while Daniel Iversen and Rotherham United lost to Oxford United

In France, Algeria striker Islam Slimani continued his excellent form for AS Monaco by scoring his fifth goal and registering his sixth assist in just seven Ligue 1 matches on Sunday.

Starring alongside Foxes team-mate Adrien Silva for Les Monégasques, Slimani set up Wissan Ben Yedder's first of two strikes, while also netting himself in the 56th minute in a 3-1 win over

Both Slimani and Silva played the entire 90 minutes at Stade Louis II to help Leonardo Jardim's men secure their third victory of the season, sending them up to 14th in France's top tier.

In Belgium, meanwhile, young City midfielder Kamal Sowah came on at half-time as Oud-Heverlee Leuven kept their Proximus League promotion hopes alive with a 2-0 win at Lommel SK.

Sowah's introduction was a factor in an improved second-half performance for Vincent Euvrard's side, who scored late at Soevereinstadion through Tom Van Hyfte and Thomas Henry.

OHL are currently top of the Proximus League's first phase with just three matches remaining, the first of which involves second-placed Westerlo visiting King Power at Den Dreef next.

Back in England, Academy graduate Josh Knight continued to impress at Peterborough United in Sky Bet League 1, with Posh defeating Gillingham 2-1 at Priestfield on Saturday.

Knight was deployed in central midfield for Darren Ferguson's men as strikes from Joe Ward and Mohamed Eisa reduced Mikael Mandron's late effort to a mere consolation as Posh rose to third.

Fousseni Diabaté, on the other hand, was involved in a 1-1 draw with Nîmes for 14th-placed Amiens on his fifth Ligue 1 appearance for the club, courtesy of Arturo Calabresi's 95th-minute leveller.

Finally, Denmark Under-21s goalkeeper Daniel Iversen played the full 90 minutes in Rotherham United's 2-1 defeat by Oxford United in League 1 at New York Stadium, leaving them 11th in the table.

Andy King (Rangers), Rachid Ghezzal (Fiorentina), Sam Hughes (Salford City), Layton Ndukwu (Southend United) and Ryan Loft (Carlisle United) were all unused over the past few days.
