The Foxes are guaranteed to occupy a spot in the Premier League’s top three on New Year’s Day having won 12 of their 19 fixtures at the half-way point of the season.
Evans, who will celebrate his 32nd birthday on 3 January, has been an ever-present for the Foxes in the Premier League this term, and says he has flourished thanks to the help of his City team-mates.
“I think when you’re playing in a team that are towards the top of the league, you’re always going to get extra plaudits,” he said.
“I think there are things in the game where I am playing well. I’m a lot more experienced now, and I think with experience, it brings composure to your game.
A Difficult Game, Says Evans
Leicester City defender Jonny Evans expects Saturday's Premier League opponents West Ham United to pose a strong challenge.
“I’ve been playing in the Premier League for 13 seasons, so if I hadn’t been trying to work it out by now, then I’ve been doing something wrong!
“I feel like I probably am playing some of my best football, but I am also playing in a team that is allowing me to do that.”
Up next for City is a trip to London Stadium to face West Ham United in the Premier League – their second fixture in less than 48 hours.
“We drew twice against them last year and I think both times we came from behind to get those draws. We know it’s going to be a difficult game, especially in such a tough time in the season.

Discussing Saturday’s challenge, Evans said: “We know they’re a very good side and they had a great start to the season. They were a bit like ourselves at one point, they were maybe a point or two behind us, or maybe level, by the end of September.
“Then, they had a bad run of results and it’s put them in a position where they’re a bit further down the league than what they would expect as a club. We know how good a team we are.
