Leicester City Football Club, also known as the Foxes, is a top-flight English football club, in their sixth consecutive season in the Premier League. In 2015/16, ranked as 5000-1 outsiders, Leicester City were crowned Premier League champions. 

In 2010, the Club was bought by Asian Football Investments, a Thai-led consortium fronted by King Power’s founder and Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha. The stadium was named King Power Stadium in 2011 and one year later in 2012, King Power International became sole owners of the Club.

About The Role

Based at the Leicester City’s new world class training ground, the role will cover all aspects of mechanical and building services maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible delivering a programme of planned preventative maintenance of the complete range of mechanical services across the Training Ground Estate.

Reporting to the Club’s Facilities Manager, the postholder will be responsible for installs, repairs, pipes and fixtures in all the commercial structures. Special attention will be required to water sanitation and pool maintenance to ensure the training ground remains an exemplary venue.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the required certificates (NVQ or equivalent; Gas Safety) and the experience of plumbing and mechanical engineering. Experience of working with swimming pools and in pool plant rooms is essential. 

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be confident in their ability to prioritise, problem-solve and make decisions. Flexible to work a shift pattern covering the seven day operations of the training ground, the postholder will be confident in their technical skills and the required record-keeping, working autonomously within the wider maintenance team.
