Leicester City's Player Of The Season: The Past Winners

Over recent seasons, some of the most recognisable faces in world football have won Leicester City's Player of the Season award.
More on this story...

Jamie Vardy, 33, scooped the 2019/20 award after a campaign which ended with City's No.9 netting 23 Premier League goals to win the top flight's Golden Boot.

In a tradition which goes back decades, the Club has regularly allowed the Blue Army to vote for their favourite Fox each season - offering a glance into each campaign's fortunes.

Vardy's predecessor as City's Player of the Season was Portugal international full-back Ricardo Pereira, who remains a popular figure with the Blue Army after his second season at the Club.

Throughout Leicester's 18 years at King Power Stadium, meanwhile, a total of 17 different players have received the award, while goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has won it on two occasions.

The Foxes' maiden campaign on Filbert Way, on the other hand, ended with promotion back to the Premier League as Paul Dickov secured the honour of Player of the Season in 2002/03.

Since then, some of the greatest players in Leicester City's recent history have picked up the top prize. Following Vardy's 2019/20 success, we remember all of them in pictures, below.
