Date Confirmed For Carabao Cup Clash Against Arsenal

Leicester City’s third round Carabao Cup tie against Arsenal has been confirmed for Wednesday 23 September (7:45pm kick-off) at King Power Stadium.

- Leicester City to host Arsenal in Round Three of the Carabao Cup
- The Foxes will take on the Gunners on Wednesday 23 September (7:45pm kick-off)
- The fixture will take place behind closed doors at King Power Stadium

The Foxes reached the semi-final of last season’s competition, bowing out to Aston Villa over two legs, while the Gunners exited at the fourth round stage, losing on penalties to Liverpool in a dramatic clash at Anfield.

City were unbeaten against the north London outfit in the Premier League last term, winning 2-0 at King Power Stadium and drawing 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s side made a winning start to the new top-flight campaign last Saturday when they defeated Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage, with Alexandre Lacazette, Gabriel and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on target.

Please note that in the interests of safety, Leicester City’s fixtures will continue to be played behind closed doors. To ensure matches can still go ahead and to help control the spread of COVID-19, the Football Club kindly asks its supporters to continue to support their team from home and not to gather at any stadia.
