City recorded back-to-back Premier League wins with an entertaining 4-2 triumph over Burnley at King Power Stadium, thanks to strikes from Harvey Barnes, James Justin, Dennis Praet and an own goal.

Cottee and Taggart dissected Sunday's game against the Clarets and looked ahead to the midweek Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal on LCFC Radio's Extra-Time podcast.

Nullifying Burnley's threats

Gerry Taggart felt Leicester's backline dealt with Burnley's aerial threats well.

Gerry Taggart said: "The team was fantastic again against a difficult Burnley team who are well organised and a big, physical team. I thought on the whole they dealt with the threat of Burnley really well. You were expecting Burnley to cause problems, they did, but Leicester going forward were fantastic at times."

Showing resilience and character

The Foxes showed character to come back from a goal down and win the game, says Tony Cottee.

Tony Cottee said: "The best thing about the performance is that the guys went a goal down and it never seemed to bother them. They were 3-1 up and Burnley pulled a goal back to make it 3-2 and it doesn't seem to phase them. They've picked up where they were with their good form, that fantastic run they had leading up to Christmas last season."

Impressive full-backs

Timothy Castagne impressed once again in his second City appearance, notching an assist for the second goal.

Gerry Taggart said: "As the game went on, you could just see that Leicester got into their stride, with the two full-backs causing all kinds of havoc. We're only two games in, but [Timothy] Castagne is a class act. And James Justin is learning all the time and improving all the time, obviously he got himself on the scoresheet, so things are looking really good."

Sharing out the goals

Full-back James Justin netted his first Premier League goal in the 4-2 triumph.

Tony Cottee said: "Jamie Vardy is a wonderful talent and has the ability to score goals, you want that in your team, every team would want a Jamie Vardy. But you can't just rely on him to score every week, it's impossible. Especially in the Premier League, where it's so competitive. Yesterday, he had very few chances but the chances were falling to other players and when they do, you've got to have players with the ability to take those chances. To have four different goalscorers, the manager will take great comfort from that, you do need goals from other areas, it is really important.

Barnes' brilliance

Harvey Barnes was a stand out performer in the win over Burnley, according to Gerry Taggart.

Gerry Taggart said: "All the talk last season was about Harvey breaking into the team and then we saw some really great performances. What we have seen is two really consistent, exciting performances that have caused opposition defences real problems in trying to deal with, one, his pace and, two, what he does when he has the ball at his feet. And that's all he can keep doing, putting in those performances week in, week out. He frightens the life out of people, there is no shadow of a doubt."

Next up, City tackle Arsenal in the Carabao Cup Third Round at King Power Stadium on Wednesday.

Tony Cottee said: "To score seven goals in the first couple of games, to be top of the league as well, it's a great achievement by all of the players. It's going to be a tough season: there's European football to come, there's Carabao Cup football to come in mid-week, there's a lot of games and all these squad players are going to play a huge part of what the manager is trying to do."
