Assistant Health and Safety Manager

We’re looking for NEBOSH certified individual who has a proven track record in Health and Safety Management, desirably with experience in the events industry.

About The Role

Working across Leicester City Football Club’s three sites, the Assistant Health and Safety Manager will assist the Club’s H&S Manager and Stadium Safety Officer in delivering an effective H&S service, ensuring compliance to legislative requirements and adherence to best practice. The successful candidate will be confident in conducting audits of current practice, reviewing and updating policies as well as analysing data and statistics to ensure effective reporting. Additional to the core H&S requirements, the postholder will have the opportunity to act as the catalyst for increased commitment to the Club’s Environmental Management activity, making key recommendations that improve energy performance and overall operating conditions that integrate sustainability issues into the fabric of the Club. 

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for NEBOSH certified individual who has a proven track record in Health and Safety Management, desirably with experience in the events industry. The successful candidate will not only possess an in-depth understanding of the legislative requirements of their role but also possess the ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders across the Club to deliver the Club’s H&S and Environmental agenda. Moreover, the Club is looking for somebody who is comfortable working in a small team and is confident working independently and autonomously across a multi-site environment.
