What's the injury news?

Wesley Fofana
Wesley Fofana

Wesley Fofana was among several players to have opportunities in Sunday's clash with Leeds.

"We picked up a few injuries yesterday (Sunday)," Brendan Rodgers told the media on Monday. "Tim [Castagne] felt a little bit in the warm-up and tried to give it a go in the game, but he just wasn’t quite right. We’ll wait and see what the scan says, but we think he’ll be out for a small period of time. Wesley Fofana, we’ll assess. He came off for a tactical reason, but he felt something in his hamstring as well, so we’ll just see where that’s at over the next 24 hours.

"We’re hopeful that Jamie [Vardy], towards the weekend, won’t be too far away, which will be great news for us. That’s what we anticipate with him. Wilf [Ndidi] won’t be too much longer after that. It’s just the nature of this season. If you look at how compact the games are and the intensity of them, it’s very, very difficult for players.

Harvey Barnes pulled one back with a sweet strike, but it wasn't enough for the Foxes.

First-half efforts from Ademola Lookman and Ivan Cavaleiro, from the penalty spot, helped Fulham secure an admirable 2-1 victory over Leicester City at King Power Stadium in November.

Harvey Barnes found the net for the Foxes, but it was too late to kick-start a comeback.
