The 6pm kick-off will see City head to Lancashire with a desire to bounce back from Sunday’s 3-1 Premier League loss to Arsenal on Filbert Way.
Sean Dyche’s Burnley, meanwhile, were beaten 4-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later in the day, and have ambitions of their own to return to winning ways.
The Foxes’ first home clash of 2020/21 came against the Clarets in September, when goals from Harvey Barnes, James Justin and Dennis Praet and an Erik Pieters own goal sealed a 4-2 comeback win at King Power Stadium.
