The Blue Army Remembers Frank Worthington

Leicester City supporters have paid tribute to the late Frank Worthington, who sadly passed away on 22 March.
More on this story...

Worthington was regarded as one of the Club's greatest entertainers, and his extensive playing career meant fans from across Europe, America and Africa were all able to see him showcase his talents.

None more so than the Foxes faithful.

He played nearly 250 games while at Filbert Street, scoring 78 times, including 24 goals in the 1973/74 season.

He was part of a Leicester City side that too possessed some of the Football Club's most iconic players, himself included.

There are those that were lucky enough to see him play, and others that were told of his showmanship through tales, recollections and anecdotes.

Supporters from all generations took to social media on Tuesday to pay their respects to the former Leicester City forward.

Rest in peace, Frank.
