Filbert Fox Signs England Flag In Support Of Grassroots Football
- A giant England flag sent by manager Gareth Southgate is currently touring the country in support of England at EURO 2020
- People are encouraged to virtually sign the flag online, with Nationwide donating £1 to help support grassroots football for every signature
- Filbert Fox has joined a host of England legends who have signed the flag when it visited Highfield Rangers FC earlier this week
- Leicester City’s Grassroots Programme is available for FA Charter Standard grassroots club to sign up to in order to take advantage of a host of benefits
England manager Gareth Southgate has sent a giant England flag across the nation, with contributors being encouraged to sign the banner virtually in support of grassroots football.
For every signature, up to 50,000, Nationwide Building Society are donating £1 to the Mutual Respect Grant fund. And Filbert joined the cause by signing the flag when it stopped off in Leicester at Highfield Rangers Football Club on Tuesday, showing Leicester City’s support for grassroots football.
England legends such as Tony Adams, Bryan Robson, Harry Redknapp and Kelly Smith have all signed the giant flag, which is currently touring the country. You can also sign the virtual flag, HERE and get involved online using #SignYourSupport.
In addition, if you are a FA Charter Standard grassroots club in Leicestershire or affiliated with Leicestershire & Rutland County FA, you will be eligible to sign up to Leicester City Football Club’s Grassroots Programme.
