Preston North End Loan For Daniel Iversen

Talented young Leicester City goalkeeper Daniel Iversen will spend the 2021/22 season on loan with Championship side Preston North End, subject to Football League clearance

- He played 23 times for the Lilywhites on loan last term
- The 24-year-old has also enjoyed loan spells with OH Leuven, Rotherham United and Oldham Athletic

The 24-year-old Danish youth international will build on an impressive loan spell with the Lilywhites in the second half of last season, where he played 23 times in the Championship and followed on from a loan spell in the Belgian First Division with OH Leuven in the first half of the campaign.

Iversen joined Leicester City in 2016 and having progressed through the Club’s Academy ranks, he has gained an impressive amount of Football League experience on loan with Preston in the Championship, Rotherham United in League 1 and Oldham Athletic in League 2.

Internationally, he has represented Denmark from Under-16s to Under-21s level and received his first call-up to the senior squad in 2019.

He will now link up with his Preston team-mates ahead of the team’s opening Championship fixture of the campaign against Hull City on Saturday 7 August.
