A former Season Ticket Holder, Thomas, 20, is now a member of the first team squad after emerging through the Academy. He started last time out for the Foxes, too, as a brace from Youri Tielemans and strikes from Patson Daka and James Maddison booked a 4-0 win over Newcastle United.

City's No.33 is hoping to feature again for Brendan Rodgers' men when they tackle Spurs on Filbert Way on Thursday (7:30pm kick-off). Ahead of that clash, the England Under-21s international sat down with CITY Matchday Magazine to preview the encounter with Antonio Conte's men.

"We know it’s going to be a really difficult game," he told the Club's official matchday programme. "There have been some good games between us two over the years and no matter what time you face them, or what form they’re in, it’s always a tough test.

Being in the team at the moment is a great feeling. If I’m given another opportunity on Thursday then I’ll go out there and give it my all.

"They have players who can turn the game on its head in a single moment, but I’m excited for it. We’ll focus on ourselves, play our own game and hopefully that will be enough for the three points. It’s one of the best things about this time of the year – there are so many games and so many opportunities to play.

"Being in the team at the moment is a great feeling. If I’m given another opportunity on Thursday then I’ll go out there and give it my all."

Keeping a clean sheet was just as rewarding as the four goals scored against the Magpies on Sunday, says Thomas, who's determined to contribute towards more shutouts in the near future.

City Score Four In Newcastle Triumph

Enjoy all four goals as Leicester City registered their biggest win of the season by beating Newcastle United 4-0.

"That was massive for us," he added. "Towards the end of the game especially, collectively we were all working hard to keep things tight and get that clean sheet. We know that we’ve conceded too many goals recently, so getting the clean sheet was really important.

"We know the quality we have in attacking positions and the goals we can score, so if we can keep more clean sheets we should be really strong moving forward."
