Community Embarks On LCFC Training Ground For Special Sessions
- Participants from a spectrum of Leicester City in the Community programmes took part in sessions in Seagrave
- The special sessions included football, multisport and classroom-based activities at the state-of-the-art site
- LCFC Training Ground played host to 13 different LCitC projects and over 1,400 participants
Sessions included football and multi-sport, as well as classroom-based activities, while getting to soak in the Club's vast base in north Leicestershire.
Spanning over a four-week period, a total of 1,426 people participated in sessions in several locations, including the indoor dome inside the King Power Centre and outdoor 4G pitches.
Leicester City in the Community projects that came to the world-class training facility in Seagrave included:

Dan Mitchinson, Community Engagement Manager at Leicester City in the Community said: “It was an honour to be able to host participants from a wide range of Leicester City in the Community projects and programmes at our state-of-the-art LCFC Training Ground.
