Praet: We Lost Our Momentum After Scoring

The Belgian came off the bench in north London to make his first Foxes outing since April 2021 following a loan spell at Italian side Torino last term. Although a William Saliba own goal and James Maddison's strike gave City hope at different stages, the Gunners were in control on Saturday.
Gabriel Jesus netted a brace for Mikel Arteta's side, while Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli were also on the scoresheet. The main frustration for Leicester, apart from the result, is likely to have been the timings of the goals as Arsenal hit back immediately to their two efforts at Emirates Stadium.
We Struggled To Find Space, Says Praet

"We played against a very strong opponent," Praet told LCFC TV. "It was not easy, they pressed us really high. In the first half, I think we had difficulties to breathe and to find space. In the second half, it was a little better, but two times when we scored, they scored right away.
"The momentum was gone. That's something we can work on to keep our momentum going. When we came back to make it 3-2, we could have maybe pushed more and gone for the third goal, but again, they scored really quickly and then the momentum was gone."
City Score Twice In Arsenal Reverse
All the goals from Emirates Stadium as Leicester City were beaten 4-2 by Arsenal on Saturday.
Southampton visit King Power Stadium next Saturday (3pm BST kick-off) as Leicester look to register their first win of the 2022/23 season. Praet says everyone is calm in the dressing room, confident in their abilities, after a draw and a loss from City's first two games of the new term.
"It's still very early in the season so we are not afraid," he added. "We know our qualities and we have a very good group. We know each other. We now go into the next game. We gave our all today. It wasn't easy, we were playing against a very good Arsenal team, so let's move onto the next game."
