West Ham Reverse For City's U18s

Leicester City's Under-18s fell to a 3-1 home defeat by West Ham United Under-18s in U18 Premier League South on Saturday morning.

Josh King's goal proved to be a consolation strike as the visiting Hammers, as the league champions took all three points away from LCFC Training Ground.

There was a change in goal for City's Under-18s, with Stevie Bausor replacing Harry French. Alfie Fisken came in for Mirsad Ali in the other switch from the win over Arsenal.

But within seven minutes, Blaise Uwandji had fired the London club into an early lead in Seagrave, and having assisted the first goal, Liam Jones netted one of his own to double the advantage.

King halved the deficit before the break, but it took West Ham less than 60 second-half seconds to regain their two-goal cushion. Uwandji was the goalscorer, once again assisted by Jones.

That result leaves Leicester seventh in the standings, remaining 10 points ahead of bottom-placed Norwich City, ahead of tackling Aston Villa at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground on Tuesday afternoon (2pm BST kick-off).
