Young Leicester City defender Lewis Brunt has joined Mansfield Town on loan until the end of the 2023/24 campaign, subject to Football League approval.

The 22-year-old, who made his senior debut for the Foxes in January 2022, has been a key player for the Club’s Development Squad in recent seasons, and now links up with the Sky Bet League 2 outfit, who are currently 10th in the fourth tier.
His progress will continue with Nigel Clough’s side, who are next in action at home to Stockport County on Saturday 26 August (3pm BST kick-off).
