World Alzheimer’s Day: Dementia-Friendly Shopping Hour

Ahead of World Alzheimer's Day, Leicester City would like to remind supporters of its dementia-friendly shopping hour in the Foxes Fanstore at King Power Stadium.

- World Alzheimer’s Day is held annually on 21 September
- Leicester City offer a dementia-friendly shopping hour in the Foxes Fanstore at King Power Stadium
- Initiative takes places from 9:30am – 10:30am on the third Thursday of every month

Taking place on the third Thursday of every month, the hour is an opportunity for people living with dementia and their carers to have their own private shopping experience.

Held from 9:30am – 10:30am, the initiative forms part of the Football Club’s commitment to being a more dementia-friendly organisation, with this month’s hour falling on World Alzheimer's Day.

World Alzheimer's Day, which takes place on 21 September each year, is a global effort to raise awareness, educate, encourage support of and demystify dementia.
