Young Foxes Beaten By Spurs

The Leicester City Under-18s lost 4-1 to Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend in the U18 Premier League at LCFC Training Ground.

After two wins on the bounce, which most recently saw Leicester beat West Bromwich Albion 5-2, City's action in the U18 Premier League South Division continued on Saturday with the visit of Spurs to Seagrave.

Four different goalscorers for the visitors in either half saw off the Foxes as Yusuf Akhamrich, Oyindamola Ajayi, Leo Black and Tyrese Hall all found the net; Olabade Aluko scoring the only Leicester goal before the hour mark.

The north London club took the lead 10 minutes in through Akhamrich before Ajayi doubled their advantage ahead of the interval. Aluko's first goal of the season for the Under-18s gave the home side some hope in the second half, but Black's goal 10 minutes later, before a Hall finish in the final minutes, confirmed victory for the travelling outfit.

League action heads on the road now for the young Foxes, who who make the short trip to face Stoke City at Clayton Wood Training Ground on Friday afternoon at 2pm GMT, hoping to get back to winning ways and build on their 12-point total.
