To mark the launch, Steve Howard and Sol Bamba were in the Foxes Fanstore on Saturday to mingle with City fans, while Liam Moore also took part in the launch shoot earlier this winter.
Whether it be for a debut goal after 46 seconds or a last-minute winner to put the Foxes on the brink of promotion, the memories conjured by Sol and Steve during their time on Filbert Way will resonate with many amongst the Blue Army, making it fitting that these two former pros were the ones to officially launch the collection ahead of City’s 4-0 win over Plymouth Argyle at King Power Stadium.
The latest addition to the Club’s desirable retro range celebrates the partnership between Leicester City and King Power that has existed since the Thai retail group’s acquisition of the Football Club back in 2010.
With the subsequent years proving to be the most successful in Leicester’s decorated history, these new replica revivals are a reminder of a legacy and vision of sustainable success harnessed by the Club’s ownership as a 14th year under its helm approaches.
