Izzet The Next Foxes Favourite On Leicester's The Place Podcast
The iconic former City midfielder joins hosts Matt Elliott and Gerry Taggart, who played with the Turk in blue, to reflect on his incredible career at the Club.
Izzet signed from Chelsea in the winter of 1996, initially on loan, and was a key figure in Leicester's successful play-off charge under Martin O'Neill. Before long, he lifted two League Cups with the Foxes too and helped them to four successive top-10 finishes in the Premier League.
Remaining with City through a tough era which followed, Izzet was there again as Micky Adams' side won promotion from the old First Division and back to the Premier League in 2002 before eventually ending his eight-year LCFC spell.
