Leicester's Youngsters Draw With Saints

The Leicester City Under-18s came from behind to draw 1-1 with Southampton on Saturday afternoon at Staplewood Training Ground.

A strike from Kaleb Dyke in the last 10 minutes ensured the points were shared on the south coast, leaving Leicester eighth in the U18 Premier League South with 22 points from 15 games.

The Foxes headed to Southampton with a 4-0 win over West Bromwich Albion still firmly in their minds, but found themselves a goal down after four minutes as Aston Daley hit the target.

The Saints held the lead until the final 10 minutes when the visitors salvaged a point at Staplewood when Dyke levelled things back up again.

Six games remain this season for the Under-18s with a league fixture against Reading up next for the young Foxes at LCFC Training Ground, when the two sides meet on Saturday 30 March with a 12pm GMT kick-off.
