Lewis Brunt scored for Mansfield Town in a 1-1 draw with Colchester United while Paul Appiah’s Maidstone United came out 1-0 victors against Weston-super-Mare in the latest round of Leicester City loan action.

During the March international break, a couple of our Foxes out on loan have been in action in the lower league of English football.
One of those was central defender Brunt, whose Mansfield side are currently top of the Sky Bet League 2 table and most recently drew 1-1 with Colchester on Saturday afternoon at home.
Harry Anderson opened the scoring for the visitors after 13 minutes and it took until an hour into the game for the promotion chasers to level the scores back up through Brunt.
Two points clear at the summit, having played an extra game than second-placed Stockport County, the Stags now prepare for a trip to Wales to take on AFC Wrexham on Friday afternoon (3pm kick-off).
Elsewhere, Maidstone United beat Weston-super-Mare 1-0 at the weekend thanks to a second-half goal from Reiss Greenidge.
Appiah played a full 90 minutes as Maidstone sit fifth in the National League South with 67 points and remain in the play-off positions ahead of their next game; a trip to Eastbourne Borough.
Before a break in fixtures for international football, Victor Kristiansen’s Bologna beat Empoli to remain in the hunt for UEFA Champions League football, while Boubakary Soumaré’s Sevilla sit sixth points clear of the drop in Spain’s La Liga.
