Leicester City will be the visitors to Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 29 July (3pm kick-off).
The fixture against Paul Lambert’s men, who finished 15th in the Sky Bet Championship, falls between recently confirmed friendlies at MK Dons and Burton Albion.
City’s most recent competitive clash against Wolves came in January 2013 with Anthony Knockaert and David Nugent securing a 2-1 success in the East Midlands.
In total, Leicester have emerged victorious from 36 of their previous 110 meetings with the three-time English champions, drawing on 32 occasions.
Wolves ended the 2016/17 season on a high note with a 1-0 home win over Preston North End courtesy of captain Danny Batth’s strike inside 60 seconds.
