The Foxes collected three points on Easter Monday by seeing off Norwich City 3-1 at King Power Stadium, a much needed and timely boost at a crucial point of the Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Having recovered from defeat to Bristol City three days earlier, Leicester now have the Blues standing in their way of consecutive victories, when they arrive on Filbert Way on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
City Back On Track With Norwich Success

The midfielder commented earlier this week: “We just needed that one to boost the confidence going forwards and we know where we are at the moment. It was a massive win for us and really pleasing.
“They scored early in the game from a corner and it’s sometimes difficult when you go a goal down but the mentality and the strength we showed as a team was really amazing.
“The Bristol City game was a very difficult one with the travel and the guys coming back from internationals, but no excuses – we lost. To get back to winning ways was very good.”
The ambition of an immediate return to the Premier League remains the key focus within the squad, but they will be coming up against a Birmingham side intent on avoiding getting further drawn into a tightly-packed relegation battle at the bottom end of the table.
While the Foxes have twice triumphed over the Blues this term, in the league and Emirates FA Cup, neither were straightforward victories for Enzo Maresca’s side.
“It’s going to be a difficult game,” the Nigerian continued. "It is not going to be easy, but we’re working towards that direction. We’ll see what happens in that one. We’ve beat them twice so they might be looking for revenge and also the energy of trying to stay up is another one.
“They are fighting near the bottom, but as a team we know what we have to do, we know what our plans are and we just have to stick together. Every game is very important going forward because of where we are.
“At the moment we try not to put pressure on ourselves, we just focus on ourselves and our plan. We know if everything goes well, we’ll hopefully win.”
Having missed the start of the calendar year through injury, Ndidi returned at the beginning of March and has started City’s last two league matches, coming through 90 minutes at Ashton Gate on Good Friday for the first time since the reverse fixture against Birmingham in late 2023.
On his current condition, the 27-year-old revealed: “I’m getting closer to full fitness, but it comes slowly and gradually. It doesn’t just come in one or two games.
“As we move forward, we’ll see what happens in the future. If I’m in the team, I’ll always do my best, but the fitness always comes game by game, as does the confidence also.”
