The Club’s charitable arm will unveil their revised Community Engagement Strategy for 2024 to 2027, ahead of LCFC Women’s final WSL fixture of the 2023/24 campaign.
During Saturday’s WSL matchday, Leicester City in the Community will run a number of sessions to celebrate its launch – with female participants from the National Citizenship Service (NCS) programme invited to King Power Stadium.
Funded by Premier League Fans Fund, a grant to strengthen connections between football clubs, their fans and local communities, 15 young people will be experiencing ‘Corporate for Kids’, including a three-course meal and the opportunity to meet LCFC Women stars post-match.

Furthermore, the New Parks Community Awards will take place, recognising the support and impact people and organisations make in our community – which will provide a blueprint for collaboration.
Leicester City in the Community launched its first Community Hub, in partnership with Team Hub, New Parks, in 2021 – and the development of Community Hubs is central to the Community Strategy.
The lucky winners will be recognised at King Power Stadium, while participants from all three programmes will welcome LCFC Women players onto the pitch for the final time this season.
Allison Tripney, Head of Community said: “Leicester City Football Club are passionate and dedicated partners of ours, integral to our success.

Sophie Howard, LCFC Women defender said: “Giving back to our community is crucial to us as a team.
“Leicester, as a community, has taken us all in, so for us, it’s giving back to people that have welcomed us.”
