Juventus Draw For Kristiansen's Bologna

One game remains for Victor Kristiansen's Bologna, who currently sit third in Serie A, while Boubakary Soumaré and Zach Booth have also been in action abroad.
More on this story...

- Victor Kristiansen played 90 minutes in Bologna's 3-3 draw with Juventus
- Boubakary Sourmaré's Sevilla beaten by Cadiz and Athletic Club with one game left against Barcelona

- Zach Booth was a late substitute as FC Voldendam were beaten 2-1 by Go Ahead Eagles
- Nathan Opoku's OH Leuven drew 1-1 with St. Truiden heading into final game with Westerlo

With all of the English leagues coming to a close, in which defender Lewis Brunt ended most positively with promotion following a third-placed finish in Sky Bet League 2 with Mansfield Town, loan duties were left to those playing abroad.

Victor Kristiansen's time with Bologna has been going very well, as the team are confirmed in next season's UEFA Champions League and carried on their nine-game unbeaten run with a 3-3 home draw with Juventus. While a point keeps them third and above the outfit from Turin, the hosts will be disappointed to let slip a three-goal lead inside the last 15 minutes.

The Danish full-back played the full fixture on Monday night and now heads into a final game for the northern Italian side, as they take on mid-table Genoa on Sunday evening (7:45pm kick-off) at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, as they cement their highest-ever Serie A finish since promotion back to the top flight in 2015.

Boubakary Soumaré's season on loan with Sevilla is quickly coming to its conclusion, with three games in the space of 11 days. The action started with a 1-0 loss to Cadiz in which Sergi Guardiola scored the winning goal for the visitors deep into injury time of the second half; the midfielder playing a full game before Los Nervionenses were beaten 2-0 by Athletic Club.

Boubakary Soumaré has featured 27 times for Sevilla this season.

Raul Garcia and Iker Muniain settled the scoreline in the absence of Soumaré at San Mamés Barria, but the French midfielder has another chance to feature for the Spanish club when they take on second-placed Barcelona at home this Sunday evening (8pm kick-off) with safety in La Liga already secured.

Over in the Netherlands, Zach Booth's time with FC Volendam came to end with a 2-1 loss at home to Go Ahead Eagles. The Academy winger was a second half substitute. Luke Le Roux cancelled out an early goal from Philippe Rommens but Enric Llanasana's late strike ended a disappointing season for the Dutch side, who were relegated from the top division with four wins from 34 games.

In neighbouring Belgium, OH Leuven recently drew 1-1 away from home with St. Truiden as Jon Thorsteinsson levelled things up for the visitors, but Nathan Opoku didn't feature, with his loan spell ending early through injury.

One game remains for OHL as they welcome Westerlo on Saturday evening (7:30pm kick-off) to King Power at Den Dreef Stadion as a 12th-placed league finish saw them fight for a spot in next season's UEFA Europa League, which is now out of reach.
