Premier League 2024/25 Season: Key Dates

Leicester City are back in the Premier League and, as excitement starts to build, here are some key dates for your diary.

The Foxes returned to the top flight at the first time of asking this past season as Sky Bet Championship champions - a record eighth title in the second tier.

With Enzo Maresca's men now planning for a return to the Premier League, we look at some of the big dates...

When are fixtures announced?

City will discover their 2024/25 fixture schedule on Tuesday 18 June at 9am BST.

All 380 of the division's matches across the entire campaign will be confirmed at that time, subject to change. The 2024/25 season will consist of 33 weekends, four midweek rounds of matches and one Bank Holiday matchweek.

When does the season start and end?

The new Premier League campaign will begin on the weekend of Saturday 17 August. It all ends, meanwhile, on Sunday 25 May. Over Christmas, no club will play within 60 hours of another match.

The mid-season break has also been removed from the calendar to allow a mid-August start date for the Premier League.
