City Under-23s To Face Chelsea At St George's Park

Leicester City Under-23s are set to face Chelsea on Friday 13 January, 2017 in Premier League 2 at St George’s Park at 1.05pm.
Steve Beaglehole’s men go into the clash on the back of defeat to Cheltenham Town in the Checkatrade Trophy but they picked up an admirably goalless draw in the capital last time around.

Supporters can attend the fixture in Burton-upon-Trent free of charge before the trip to face West Ham United in Dagenham on Monday 23 January (7pm kick-off).

"We want a positive reaction," Beaglehole said, looking ahead to the match. "There'll be changes in the team, I'm sure. There are players who deserve a chance and it'll be against great opposition.

"Technically, they'll be very, very good. You've still got to do the basics right. It'll be a different challenge but still a very big one.

"They're an excellent side and it's the same challenge as our first-team have on the Saturday."
