The visit of the Eagles will be City’s first home league match since the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej last Thursday and the Club will mark the occasion with a show of unity and support for the Club’s owners and the Thai people.
The world’s longest-reigning monarch, His Majesty the King was widely loved, revered and admired in the homeland of Leicester City’s owners, the Srivaddhanaprabha family.
As they did for the away game at Chelsea last Saturday, City’s players will wear black armbands this weekend, while the minute of applause will give supporters of both clubs an opportunity to join us in respectful appreciation of a truly significant figure in Thai history.
A book of condolence will be open from midday on Friday (21 October) in Main Reception at King Power Stadium and the Club would like to invite supporters to enter their names. The book will be accessible to supporters between the following hours:
Friday 21 October – 12.00noon – 5.30pm
Saturday 22 October – 8.00am – 11.00am
Monday-Friday – 9.00am – 5.30pm
