Girls To Take Centre Stage v Ipswich

While Nigel Pearson’s side will be looking for another valuable three points in the search of promotion to the Premier League, the day’s events will help to further promote the women’s game across all levels, in partnership with the Leicestershire and Rutland County FA and the Leicester City & County Girls League. 

Local teams from across the County will also be playing their part in helping to highlight the many pathways into the women’s game, from grass roots level right through to the international stage. 

Last year’s fixture generated massive interest from across the local community with over 300 aspiring young female footballers taking part. And this year is expected to be no different with a wide range of activities taking place to support the awareness of women’s football. 

Matchday Experiences: 

We have four fantastic matchday experiences available for the Ipswich game including; Guard of Honour, Flag Bearers,Shake the Shirt and our Half-Time Parade.
