Pearson: Bangkok Friendly A Privilege

King Power, the biggest name in duty free in Thailand, celebrates a quarter of a century in operation in 2014 and Pearson is delighted that his team will be able to help mark the occasion with owners Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha. 

He said: “It has been a long time since Leicester City have played in the top flight and, with the unconditional support of King Power, we have been able to take the Club back to where we all want to be competing – the Premier League. 

“During my time working for them, Khun Vichai and Khun Aiyawatt have been hugely supportive, loyal and humble people and I’m delighted for them that their hard work and investment has been rewarded. They are extremely successful business people and I think that has been reflected in the way they run their Football Club. 

“It will be a great privilege for us to be part of King Power’s 25th anniversary celebrations and to play a big club like Everton in front of the football fans of Bangkok. They gave us a terrific reception on our previous visit, are very passionate about football and I’m sure they will be out in force for a great occasion.” 

Tickets for the friendly between Leicester City and Everton at Bangkok’s Supachalasai Stadium on Sunday 27 July (kick-off 6pm local time, 12noon BST) are currently on sale .
