Youth Cup Clash At Blackburn Confirmed
- The clash will be played at Leigh Sports Village, meaning the Development Squad’s U21 Premier League Cup tie against Blackburn will be rescheduled
- The young Foxes beat Cheltenham Town 5-0 in the third round at King Power Stadium
- The winners of the FA Youth Cup clash between Blackburn and City will face a trip to either Crystal Palace or Aston Villa in the fifth round
Leicester City’s Under-18s will play their FA Youth Cup Fourth Round fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Leigh Sports Village on Monday 11 January, 2016 (7pm kick-off).
The young Foxes beat Cheltenham Town 5-0 in December thanks to doubles from Layton Ndukwu and Admiral Muskwe and a header from captain Darnell Johnson, while Blackburn Rovers beat Southend United 1-0 in the third round.
As a result of the FA Youth Cup fixture being confirmed, the Development Squad’s U21 Premier League Cup Round of 16 fixture against Blackburn, originally set to take place on 11 January at the same venue, will be rescheduled.
The winners of the FA Youth Cup fixture between Blackburn and City will face a trip to either Crystal Palace or Aston Villa in the fifth round.
