Leicester City Issue Stadium Safety Guidance Ahead Of Final Two Home Matches

Ahead of the final two home matches of the Barclays Premier League season, Leicester City Football Club would like to remind its supporters of its expectations relating to matchday supporter safety.

The Foxes host two high-profile matches at King Power Stadium before the end of the 2015/16 campaign – Sunday’s visit of Swansea City (kick-off 4.15pm) and the visit of Everton on Saturday 7 May (kick-off 5.30pm) – as the battle at the top of the table reaches its climax. Tickets for both matches have sold out.
Our supporters will play a vital role in the remaining games of the campaign, as the Club strives to finish one of its greatest ever seasons in style. The Leicester City fans have made King Power Stadium’s atmosphere one of the the most talked-about experiences in world football and their passion and energy will be crucial during the run-in.
However, as part of our duty of care to everyone inside King Power Stadium – supporters, players and staff – we have a responsibility to ensure all spectators remain in their seats. A pitch incursion of any kind – before, during or after either fixture – could compromise the safety of others and put the completion of either fixture at risk.
Supporters are reminded that it is a criminal offence to enter the field of play. Please stay in your seats and keep off the pitch AND the perimeter track.
As both matches have been declared sell-outs, the Club recommends supporters arrive early for both fixtures to avoid queues at the turnstiles close to kick-off. Sunday’s game against Swansea kicks off at 4.15pm, while the visit of Everton on 7 May commences at 5.30pm.
