Following on from its recent recognition by The Football League, Leicester City’s Official Matchday Magazine has received a further boost by being named the Championship Programme of the Year.
The award, from Soccer Club Swap Shop, saw ‘City’ named ahead of runner-up Watford and third placed Peterborough United, as well as the publication ranking alongside Sunderland’s as the joint best programme in the country.
On top of this, ‘City’, which is designed and edited in partnership with Soar Media and Official Photographic Supplier Plumb Images, has also been shortlisted for the Magazine or Supplement of the Year crown at the Midlands Media Awards that are set to take place at Villa Park next month.
The Foxes’ Matchday Magazine will be up against Aspirational Magazine, Birmingham Living, Nottingham Post Weekend,and Taste the Seasons in the category, which could take the total number of awards collected over the previous two seasons to an impressive 12.
