An explosive two-minute salvo rescued a 4-4 draw late on for Leicester City’s Academy side at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon.

The young Foxes found themselves 3-0 down before the half-hour mark during their first league outing of 2018 at Hotspur Way, but they launched a stirring comeback to salvage a point.
Spurs raced ahead through Lukas Husek’s own goal after just four minutes before Dilan Kumar Markanday and Rodel Richards appeared to wrap up all three points early on.
While Kairo Edwards-John got a goal back for City six minutes before the break, shortly followed by a Morgan Brown effort, the north London outfit soon restored control in the second period.
Phoenix Maclaren Pattern struck in the 55th minute to put Spurs on the cusp of victory. Connor Tee and Luke Thomas, though, intervened in the final three minutes of time to seal a dramatic draw.
Next up for the Club’s Under-18s side in the Premier League U18 South is a visit to Reading on Saturday 20 January before they welcome Southampton to Belvoir Drive seven days later.
Trevor Peake's men are third in the South standings, four points adrift of second-placed Arsenal and 10 away from runaway leaders and title holders Chelsea.
