Iborra: A Chance To Improve

Having faced Turkish opposition already in his career, the Spaniard knows the game will be ideal preparation for the 2018/19 season.
'A Very Difficult Game'
Vicente Iborra outlines Akhisarspor's quality ahead of Wednesday night's clash in Austria.
“I think it will be a very difficult game,” said Iborra. “Always, the Turkish teams are very strong. They’re very difficult with tactics and have players with a lot of quality. It will be a good chance to improve.
“I think we had the last week to work a little harder with some running and bikes. I think it’s normal that we have to work to a long season. Now, we have to play games to give good feelings. When the first game of the league arrives, we are ready. “
After a full day of training on Tuesday, Iborra says he is targeting more minutes in Leicester colours this week.
“My feelings are very good,” he added. “We worked hard with a lot of intensity and we’re also preparing for the next game. We are excited to play games and now, we are looking forward to playing.
“We have to improve our fitness. Last game, we played 45 or 60 minutes and it’s normal. The competition is close. We have to improve a little more so it’s normal that we play a few more minutes.”
