About The Company

Established in 1884, Leicester City Football Club is a leading Football Club, achieving outstanding success as Premier League champions in 2016. Following a period of growth, Leicester City Football Club is recruiting an inspirational coach and effective coordinator to run all elements of the Club’s Pre-Academy work, which encompasses Development Centres (U7/U8), Elite (shadow) squads (U9-U14) and grass roots trial centre.

About The Role

The main duties of the role are:

- To be the Lead Coach of the Pre-Academy with a focus on U8’s.
- To organise the U8 identification programme.
- To oversee the transition of players from the Pre-Academy into the Academy.
- To ensure the Academy has strong links with Grass Roots clubs across the region.

This brand new role will include a significant amount of administration and management as well as delivering and overseeing the quality of coaching.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a UEFA B coach who is able to work closely with Academy and Recruitment staff to identify potential in young players, develop them and transition those that are of the required standard transition them into the Academy.
