The Leicester City striker missed Tuesday’s clash with Manchester City in the Carabao Cup but is hoping to face Maurizio Sarri’s Londoners.
The Foxes, despite playing over 20 minutes with 10 men, drew 0-0 at Stamford Bridge in this fixture last term, and Vardy is determined to try and help his side go one step further this weekend.
“I have had a couple of little niggles and I needed to be careful with them, so I wasn’t out for a long time, but it is all good now so I’m ready and raring to go.
“It was a risk to play 90 minutes on a Saturday and go into a game on Tuesday as well, major risk of obviously having something happening again, or making it worse.
“I have managed to rest up and prepare for the game against Chelsea.”
Chelsea currently occupy fourth position in the Premier League table and on Wednesday set up a Carabao Cup Semi-Final tie with Tottenham Hotspur after beating Bournemouth 1-0 thanks to a solitary Eden Hazard strike.

“They are good, they have a new manager and different ways and they have got world-class players in that dressing room,” Vardy said of Saturday’s opponents.
“They are good enough to beat anyone, but we also know that when we are at our best, we can cause problems.
“It’s going to be a good game and I think it’s about time we started improving our record in London.”
