The Young Lions will play Italy and Germany in friendlies over the first international break of the 2022/23 season. Syston-born left-back Thomas has made eight appearances for England's Under-21s since his debut in September 2021.
Thomas, 21, has starred three times for City this term and is a winner of the Emirates FA Cup and FA Community Shield at the Club. Elsewhere, Ben Nelson, Sammy Braybrooke and Kian Pennant have also been named in the England Under-19s squad. The UEFA European Under-19 Championship holders face Montenegro, Georgia and Denmark this month. Will Alves could also star for England's Under-18s in three games against the Netherlands, Faroe Island and Belgium at the Pinatar Arena in Spain.
