  • Leicester City host Arsenal in the Premier League's early kick-off on Saturday
  • LCFC Women will be in action against Aston Villa at the same venue a day later
  • City's Under-21s meet Newcastle United for Premier League 2 action
  • Our Under-18s travel down to London this weekend to face West Ham United
The Premier League returns with King Power Stadium hosting Saturday’s early kick-off, as we welcome Arsenal to Filbert Way at 12:30pm. The Gunners are looking to hunt down Liverpool in the title race and Mikel Arteta’s side will arrive in Leicester seeking to continue their 14-game unbeaten streak in the division.
As for the Foxes, confidence can be taken from our showing in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round defeat at Manchester United last Friday, which was controversially decided in the closing moments of the Old Trafford contest.

Premier League survival is the only aim now and bridging a gap to 17th-place Wolverhampton Wanderers which currently stands at two points. You’ll be able to hear from City Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy in the build-up to this fixture, too, with the Dutchman set to speak to the media on Thursday.
Moving on to Sunday, there’s another chance to see a City side in action as LCFC Women take on Aston Villa at King Power Stadium (3pm kick-off).
With just one place separating the two teams in the Barclays Women’s Super League, a win would see Amandine Miquel’s side leapfrog the Villans and tickets are available to purchase online HERE.
Although beaten by Manchester City in the fifth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup last time out, we did triumph in our previous home league encounter, beating Liverpool 2-1.

The weekend will start, however, with Premier League 2 action in the North East. Our Development Squad head to Tyneside to face Newcastle United at Whitley Park on Friday night (7pm kick-off).
The side coached by Leon McSweeney are going in search of a third successive win following on from a 3-0 success at home to Coventry City in the Premier League Cup and an emphatic 5-1 triumph at Norwich City back in PL2.
That result moved the young Foxes up to 15th in the 26-team table, on 18 points from 14 matches, two points behind the Magpies in 11th.
There’s also an away trip for our Under-18s side in U18 Premier League South, heading to the capital to visit Little Heath Sports Centre and take on West Ham United at midday on Saturday. Adam Barradell’s team were beaten 3-1 by Chelsea a week ago.
