Moving on from defeat at Everton, the Premier League takes a back seat as the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round gets underway on Friday evening. We’ll be at Old Trafford for a third trip to face Manchester United this term (8pm kick-off).

The Premier League fixture finished 3-0 in November.

It was the Red Devils who came out on top in the league and Carabao Cup fixtures earlier in the season, both of which saw current City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy in temporary charge of the 13-time FA Cup winners.

In round three of this competition, meanwhile, the Foxes saw off Sky Bet Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers 6-2 at King Power Stadium, while the Red Devils defeated Arsenal, progressing after a dramatic penalty shootout.

Van Nistelrooy is set to address the media on Thursday morning to share his pre-match thoughts, with more preview content to come across LCFC’s digital channels over the coming days.

Janina Leitzig was the star of the shootout against Man City in 2023/24.

LCFC Women also have an away tie, tackling Manchester City in the fifth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup. Amandine Miquel’s side will be looking to move a step closer to a second successive semi-final in Sunday’s 2pm kick-off at Joie Stadium, following last season’s run to the last four.

Moving into Premier League 2, our Development Squad head to face Norwich City at Avant Training Centre on Friday night (7pm kick-off), looking to make it back-to-back wins following on from an emphatic 3-0 success at home to Coventry City in the Premier League Cup.

The side coached by Leon McSweeney sit 17th in a tightly contested 26-team PL2 table, on 15 points from 13 matches.

Across to our Under-18s, the Club’s youngsters are back in U18 Premier League South action in Seagrave on Saturday, tackling Chelsea at 12pm. The young Foxes are aiming to bounce back from a 4-2 defeat at Reading last time out.
