- Ben Chilwell and Harry Maguire could feature for England on Thursday against the Netherlands (7:45pm BST kick-off)
- The Three Lions will contest their UEFA Nations League Semi-Final clash in Guimarães
- Çağlar Söyüncü kicked off international proceedings last week, playing twice for Turkey
Following two appearances for Çağlar Söyüncü during Turkey’s friendly wins over Greece and Uzbekistan, City’s England defensive duo will be aiming to help Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions to a victory in Guimarães.
A win at Estádio D. Afonso Henriques would see England advance to the final of the inaugural Nations League, and should Chilwell and Maguire play, they would earn their seventh and 19th caps respectively.
Ben Chilwell has made six appearances for England after making his debut in 2018 against Switzerland.
Speaking to thefa.com ahead of the game, Maguire said: “It’s nice to come off the back of two wins in the March camp because we know how important it is to qualify for tournaments.
“We don’t take anything for granted, it’s hard to qualify for any major competition and we put in two good performances to set a tone for the group and put ourselves in a great position.
“We’ve got plenty of confidence going into the Nations League and we know it’s going to be tough, there’s four top teams involved, but we’ve got enough talent in our dressing room to compete and we’re in there with a chance.”
Harry Maguire faces the media ahead of the UEFA Nations League tournament.
Chilwell and Maguire have the potential of facing a number of Premier League stars on Thursday including Liverpool's Virgil Van Dijk, Brighton & Hove Albion defender Davy Pröpper and former Fox Patrick Van Aanholt.
