The Serie A outfit, who finished third in Italy's top tier and qualified for the UEFA Champions League last term, will be City's final pre-season opposition of the summer.

Brendan Rodgers' men are unbeaten so far in the summer and, according to England left-back Chilwell, everyone is looking forward to returning to King Power Stadium this week.

Tickets remain available for the only chance to watch the Foxes in action before next Sunday's 2019/20 Premier League opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers (2pm BST kick-off).

"Obviously to be back at King Power Stadium, in front of the fans, and just getting back used to the pitch, it's going to be great," the 22-year-old told LCFC TV this week.

"Obviously we’ve not played there for a few months and I think it’ll just be nice for all the boys to be back at King Power Stadium… get in there for pre-match and then warming up on the pitch.

"It’ll just be nice to be back there and hopefully we can get a win there going into the season. It's always good to have a good crowd is nice at King Power Stadium.

"The fans are really good at King Power Stadium so [we’re hoping] for a good turnout and obviously to get behind us will obviously be good for us and help us get the win."

Evaluating Leicester's pre-season schedule so far, Chilwell says the Foxes can take confidence from their performances and noted the steady incline in quality of opposition.

"The Stoke game was another step up from the previous weeks and just for the lads to get 90 minutes, myself and all the other boys, 90 minutes was a massive positive.

"[We’ll get] 90 minutes again hopefully against Atalanta to get our fitness up again. Like I say, against a stronger opposition, [it] will put us in good stead going into the Wolves game.

"Obviously the Premier League’s a week away so obviously it’s a massive week leading into the Wolves game and we know how good they’re going to be this season.

"If you look at them last season, how good they were, so the Atalanta game is very important for us to put in a good performance and build confidence going into next week."

Leicester City supporters who buy a ticket for the home friendly against Atalanta will automatically enter a competition to win a signed adidas 2019/20 home shirt!
