Landmark Evening For Schmeichel & Justin On International Stage

After hitting 50 caps for Denmark in a Man of the Match display during last week's vital UEFA 2020 European Championships qualifying victory over Switzerland, Schmeichel started again on Tuesday.
While the match ended in success for Åge Hareide's side, the 32-year-old goalkeeper's 51st cap also saw him overtake Andy King in the tally of players to earn international caps while at the Football Club.
Schmeichel's 51st Denmark outing was a 4-0 friendly win over Luxembourg, courtesy of solitary goals from Martin Braithwaite and Christian Gytkjær and a brace from Kasper Dolberg at Nordjyske Arena.
All of the Dane's international caps have come since his move to King Power Stadium in 2011, a passage of time which has enabled Schmeichel to lift both the Premier League and Championship titles.
Elsewhere, later on Tuesday evening, full-back Justin followed two substitute appearances for England's Under-21s with a maiden start in UEFA 2021 U21 European Championships qualifying at stadium:mk.
Since joining the Club, Justin, 21, has so far featured twice from the bench during fixtures against Kosovo and Slovenia, while he scored on his Foxes debut at former side Luton Town last month.
Justin played the full 90 minutes in Milton Keynes as a hat-trick from Eddie Nketiah and Callum Hudson-Odoi's double fired the Young Lions to a 5-1 victory over Austria, sending them top of Group C.
Meanwhile, striker Islam Slimani, on loan at AS Monaco, was a second-half substitute in Algeria's 3-0 friendly win over Colombia after netting in a 1-1 draw with DR Congo on Thursday evening.
Following a busy week of international action, the Club's players will now return to domestic duties ahead of Saturday's visit of Burnley to Leicester in the Premier League (3pm BST kick-off).
