Evans, 31, has made over 80 appearances for Northern Ireland, and scored his third goal during his side’s 3-2 friendly triumph against the Czech Republic.

Paddy McNair gave the visitors the lead after nine minutes before Evans scrambled home for a 2-0 advantage with 23 minutes on the clock.

McNair added a third before the interval to make it 3-0, and while two goals in as many minutes from Vladimir Darida and Alex Kral gave the hosts hope, Evans’ nation held on to secure a win in Prague.

Elsewhere, young Leicester defender Hušek bagged a goal in the Czech Republic’s 3-0 victory over England Under-20s in the UEFA U20 2019 EURO Elite Round in Peterborough.

At Stadion Vasil Levski, Marcus Rashford opened the scoring, Raheem Sterling and Ross Barkley both scored braces and Harry Kane notched five minutes from time.
