Speaking inside the LCFC Radio studio at King Power Stadium, the iconic former Foxes trio discussed a range of topics, including City's defensive organisation and the performance of James Maddison.

The goalless stalemate at Molineux means Leicester remain in third place, nine points above fourth-placed Chelsea, and 10 in front of Tottenham Hotspur, who sit fifth in the Premier League.

A great point

Kasper Schmeichel earned his ninth clean sheet of the season.

Steve Walsh said: "When we look back now at the way Wolves set up, they played very, very deep and it's not easy when you're playing against a team like that. They're a very fit team, they work hard, and he's got them really fired up, but I think we needed that break and we saw that at Wolves. It's a great point. We're still in a great position. It's 12 games to go, another one gone, and I'm pleased with the point."

The Foxes currently still hold a healthy advantage in the Premier League's top four.

Tony Cottee said: "You can't play well in every game. It's been an outstanding season and it's a point which keeps the gap between Leicester and Wolves at 14 points. If you lose that game, it's 11 points and that's a massive difference. Of course, you want the three points, but sometimes you can't do that. If you can get a point from games like that, it's a really, really good point towards Europe."

A surprising stalemate

All members of City's defence, including Ricardo, had to be at their very best.

Gerry Taggart said: "I don't think anybody would have been surprised with a draw. The most surprising thing was that it was a 0-0. If you look at the last few times Leicester have played away at Wolves in the Premier League, they've been high scoring games. It was a case of two good teams basically just cancelling each other out. I don't think it was a surprise how level they were."

Battling Chilwell

Ben Chilwell stood up to the challenges posed by Adama Traoré late on in Wolverhampton.

Steve Walsh said: "Ben Chilwell can learn from the different types of players that he comes up against and how to get tight, stand back and deal with players of pace. When Adama Traoré came on, he did get some crossed in the box, but we defended very, very well. Chilwell battled well with him and handled him as best he could. He handled it, but there's always areas to improve. Ben's had a great season."

Organisation with 10 men

Leicester worked several openings of their own at Molineux.

Tony Cottee said: "Speaking from experience, when your team goes down to 10 men, you've got to be more concentrated, and try and give a little more. As a forward, you certainly have to do more defensively. I was often substituted in that instance, but when I was there, you go into that 10-men mode. You work on it in training all the time, but I thought Leicester were very, very organised. It was impressive."

Maddison puts a shift in

James Maddison was praised for his defensive efforts on Friday night.

Gerry Taggart said: "It's not what we come to expect from James Maddison, but he was back there helping out at vital times of the game. It was crucial for Leicester. Traoré was a menace, but Maddison leant a hand at the back and helped people like Ben Chilwell to deal with that threat. It meant that Traoré had to go down the line. His options were limited."
