Following Thursday's 2-0 triumph over Sheffield United, the Foxes travel to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon (4pm kick-off).

City are guaranteed European football next season and currently sit in fourth place in the top-flight standings with two challenging fixtures still to play for Brendan Rodgers' men.

Tielemans was picked out for praise by the City On The Sofa panel on LCFC TV last Thursday after delivering an impressive performance on his 35th league outing for the Foxes.

However, the Belgian international is not reflecting on the past and is solely looking forward as Leicester look to maintain their position in the league table over the coming two games.

"It will be very difficult for us because Tottenham have a good team with good players," Tielemans said. "It will be up to us to play our game to win the points.

We have to be ready for every game and just move on and be ready to attack the game.

"We have to try and win all our games to stay where we are. We just have to look forward. We have two games left now to compete to stay where we are.

"We’re just playing our games as best as we can. It’s very tight at the top. As we know, in the Premier League, it’s very competitive, also at the bottom of the league.

"We have to be ready for every game and just move on and be ready to attack the game."

The former Monaco midfielder believes his game has developed under the management of Rodgers this term, while he is also enthused by the balance to City's first team squad.

"We’ve improved a lot this season with him," he continued. "I’ve been working a lot and he’s been pushing me harder and harder to get me to top form.

Jamie Vardy: 100 Premier League Goals

Enjoy all the goals Jamie Vardy scored in the Premier League to reach the 100 club!

"We have a good team, a lot of young players, surrounded by experienced players. We feel like we have a good balance to the team, but we have to keep pushing hard."

Jamie Vardy, meanwhile, is currently the Premier League's top goalscorer with 23 strikes to his name - and Tielemans had credited City's No.9 for his professional mentality.

"He’s just playing his game like he always does, always giving everything for the team, and the thing about Jamie is he doesn’t even look at his goals," the 23-year-old added.

"He’s really happy to score the team and as our No.9 that’s what we ask from him, but for Jamie, it doesn’t matter who scores in the team, so long as we win the games.

"That’s the mentality which we have in this team."
