City’s Home Opener To Be Shown Live On BBC Sport

Leicester City’s first home game of the 2020/21 Premier League season against Burnley will now be screened live on BBC Sport on Sunday 20 September (7pm kick-off).

- The fixture will be screened live on BBC Sport in the UK
- All three of Leicester City’s Premier League fixtures in September will be broadcast live

The fixture was initially scheduled for a Saturday, but the tie at King Power Stadium will now move to a Sunday at 7pm and be available for supporters to watch on free-to-air TV in the UK.

The change comes after the Premier League confirmed that all fixtures played in September will be broadcast live, with visits to West Bromwich Albion and Manchester City already scheduled for Sundays and to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Please note that in the interests of safety, Leicester City’s fixtures will continue to be played behind closed doors. To ensure matches can still go ahead and to help control the spread of COVID-19, the Football Club kindly asks its supporters to continue to follow their team from home and not to gather at any stadia.
