Matchday Live Talking Points: Second-Half Comeback, Creative Play & A Big Win

Trailing at the break, the Foxes came from behind to take all three points at AMEX Stadium thanks to an equaliser from in-form forward Kelechi Iheanacho, ahead of Daniel Amartey's late winner, as City's impressive away record continued on the south coast.
Matt Elliott, Gerry Taggart and Dean Hammond were all on hand post-match to discuss the evening's action on LCFC Radio, including key contributions from Youri Tielemans, Iheanacho and Amartey.
An impressive second half
Dean Hammond said: "It was a game of two halves really. Brighton were brilliant in the first half, they played with energy, with that press and came up with a really good game plan against Leicester, but in the second half, Leicester grew into the game and full credit to them with the depleted squad, with the injuries, with the amount of games they've had lately, they've finished really strong and what a way to win a game. Daniel [Amartey] reacted really well with the header and it was a deserved victory. They played really well in the second half to beat a good Brighton team."
Creative play
Matt Elliott said: "What a delivery from Marc Albrighton, that cross coming in was a bit of quality. Leicester have got the players to deliver the class and the necessary balls from set pieces, free-kicks, corners, but they don't do it often enough and they certainly don't attack it often enough. Leicester covered all areas of goal so they put a bit of pressure on when the ball came into a good area and the goalkeeper, who had been exceptional all night, made his only mistake of the evening. He came to claim and didn't get anywhere near it and Amartey adjusted himself and got an element of control on the header."
Turning the game around
Gerry Taggart said: "What a result! Definitely, in the second half, they deserved something out of the game, there's no doubt about that. There was a bit more impetus to the game, a bit more energy and sometimes it takes half-time to get into the dressing room and the manager to pick key areas where the players aren't performing and then you go out with belief because they've had a few strong words in their ear. All around the pitch, they were better. Iheanacho was as cool as you like, he didn't panic with the 'keeper coming out and he just delayed his shot and flicked it over him. It was an unbelievable comeback and the away run continues."
Analysing Youri's assist
Dean Hammond said: "It's exceptional. It's a no-look pass, obviously he's looked before he received the ball, he's aware of Iheanacho's movement, he's aware of his space, but it's just the weight and the timing of the pass. It's that good Lewis Dunk is stretching to try and win the ball back or intercept it and he just can't get there. The ball came into Tielemans, he's had a touch to his left and then moved it onto his right and then played the pass. It's a great driven pass and he's got that quality and that's the difference, Leicester have got those type of players. You're not going to get better in the Premier League all season."
A big win
Matt Elliott said: "It's a massive victory for Leicester to get through this tough run of games and all that goes with it, all the troubles they've had with injuries, the fixture list, the losses. This has brought a ray of sunshine."
Amartey's influence
Gerry Taggart said: "He's been out for a couple seasons, he's had a bit part role to play this season and when he's come in, I think he's done really well. He's been solid enough and that's what you want from your defenders. Amartey keeps a cool head, never gets flustered, and he's there to do a job. Since he's come back into the side, he has had a more prevalent role in the team and he's been a steadying influence. Luck was on his side with the goal but you've got to cover the goal and hope the ball comes your way. He's in the right place at the right time to nod it home. No one deserves it more than Daniel Amartey."
